The All In Trail Collective is a group of hungry, younger athletes who are ready to get after the trail running scene. Our athletes compete in all distances, from Vertical Kilometer races to multi-day events. The All In Trail Collective is coached by 8 individuals: Jess Schnier, Rachel Lemcke, Danielle Snyder, Ryan Miller, Yassine Diboun, Lindsey McDonald, Jarred Ervin, and Joe McConaughy. The 19 individuals below were offered a 1:1 coaching scholarship through the future year. The All In Trail Collective consists of over 100 athletes in North America! Our goals with this group are to help encourage younger athletes to go All In on the trail running scene and to create a space to help expand the diversity of the trail running community.
Annually, we accept applications for athletes to join the All In Trail Collective and coaching scholarship. The application period for 2026 is set to begin in December, 2025. Learn more about the program here.
We’d like to give a shoutout to program sponsors, including Rainshadow Running, Aravaipa Running, Trail Animals Running Club, Tejas Trails, Vert Running Series and Daybreak Racing for offering complimentary race entries for these athletes. Additionally, we’d like to thank program sponsors Brooks, TrailButter, UltraSpire, Näak, and Squirrel’s Nut Butter for hooking athletes up with different gear and products.
We’re proud to announce the recipients of All In Trail Collective Coaching Scholarship. We can’t to see what they do in 2025 and beyond! Stay up to date on the All In Trail Collective through our Instagram.

I applied for this scholarship because the world of ultrarunning and trail racing is still new and exciting for me, with so many distances I’m eager to conquer. Having the support and guidance of a coach would not only help me navigate the challenges of ultras but also improve my consistency and push my limits. I’m excited to connect with others who share a love for trail running and to discover new strengths within myself through this journey.
I applied to this scholarship so that I can give myself the tools to push myself to be the best endurance athlete that I can be. The chance to work closely with more experienced athletes and coaches and learn from them to avoid making (as many) mistakes is an amazing opportunity. Ultimately, I would like to pass on what I learn to my own community and share my passion to bring more queer people into our sport.
Completing the Kettle Moraine 50K exposed me to the uniquely communal environment surrounding trail and ultra running, and I deeply appreciated witnessing each runner supporting fellow runners to achieve their goals while remaining steadfastly committed to their personal endeavors. Although I have participated in road running for years, I felt that running the trails presented a wholly new, impactful experience. I have much to learn about both the physical demands and community component of trail running, and the All In Trail Coaching scholarship provided an ideal opportunity for me to access tailored exposure to the sport. Additionally, I hope to make the most of a limited period of remote study in Colorado, and I strongly believed that working with the All In Trail Collective would create an excellent foundation to continue prioritizing trail running even when I return to Chicago to complete my medical studies.
Running has changed my life, helping me build self-confidence, acceptance, and grit. I’m passionate about making running more accessible and helping others discover themselves through the outdoors as I have. With this scholarship, I’m excited to elevate my training, expand my knowledge, and have a ton of fun while finding new ways to support others in the running community.
I applied to this scholarship because I have reached a point in my progress as a runner that I can see that I need help to keep moving forward. I do not have the funds to pay for a professional coach, which is why this scholarship is important to me. I hope that having a coach I will be able to overcome some obstacles that I am encountering in my training.
As an athlete newer to the longer distances, I hope to gain mentorship from my All In trail coach and help balance my training and adventure/race schedule. I am excited to grow my confidence and mental toolbox through working with Danielle!

Running Goals:
- Run a sub-2:30 marathon, achieving a major milestone in my road racing career.
- Complete a sub-4-hour 50K trail race, successfully transitioning into competitive trail ultramarathons.
- Qualify for and compete in a prestigious international trail race. Also complete a 100k.
I applied for the All In Trails scholarship to support my goal of running a sub-4-hour 50K trail race this year. This goal reflects my dedication to pushing my limits and transitioning my road-running success to the trails. With this scholarship, I aim to not only achieve this milestone but also inspire others to explore the beauty and challenges of trail running while deepening my connection to the community.
I applied for this scholarship to build stronger connections within the sport and to gain the structure and support needed to achieve my goals. While I have considerable experience in running, I still lack the deeper knowledge of ultra-trail running that comes with time and experience. Having the opportunity to work with a coach who can provide that expertise would be invaluable in helping me progress and succeed.
I applied for the All In Trails scholarship because I wanted the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches who could help me reach my goals in ultra running. I also want bring more diversity into the trail running community!
I don’t have an impressive running resume, and my times are slower than other sub-elite women transitioning to trails. Yet, I believe I have untapped potential and a burning desire to see how good I can become at trail running. Being part of the All In Collective and having continued support and community from the collective would get me one step closer to realizing my potential. Guidance from coaches who value the health of the whole person—both physical and mental–is critical if I hope to improve in trail running.
I was really inspired by previous scholarship recipients who spoke highly of the inclusivity and support they received. It made trail running feel more welcome and accessible and I was excited to apply and be accepted!
I applied for the scholarship because I am seeking to connect more deeply with myself, the trail running community, and the natural world. Having never focused on running and always winged training a bit, I am looking forward to the expertise, structure, and support of having a coach. Through the scholarship, I think I can push my limits while maintaining the fun aspect of the sport.
I saw this as an opportunity to truly elevate my skills and push my athletic potential to a new level. I know having the guidance of a coach and a community of other trail runners would make it possible. Plus, this aligns with my desire to connect with women and people of color in ultrarunning. We are severely underrepresented, so I would love to join the strides to foster a more inclusive and diverse community in the sport! Running means so much to me, and I can’t wait to grow as an ultrarunner this upcoming year!
I applied to this scholarship because I am tired of my opportunities in this sport being limited by the money I have at my disposal. People love to say that all runners’ need is a pair of shoes, but only the most gifted athlete could succeed at the highest level without money for race entries and travel, not to mention nutrition, coaching, a gym membership and more. And let’s face it, even that pair of shoes doesn’t come cheap in the era of $300 supershoes. I want to compete against the best, and I would apply for anything that helps give me that opportunity.
I applied to this scholarship because I want to run farther, faster, fueled by adventure, joy, and silliness. I’m excited to spend this year writing about the intersections between trail running, climate change, and environmental stewardship while building a climate justice community of runners. I’m also stoked to connect with other Asian American and women/femme/non-binary runners to help advance representation in our sport!
I applied to the All In Trail scholarship hoping to expand my connections, gain knowledge, and support a community and sport that has come to me so much to me. Growing up in the Midwest, I didn’t have much exposure to trails or mountains. As I’ve ventured onto the trails, I was looking for an opportunity to find guidance and share my experiences with others on similar journeys.
It’s been 3 years since I have trained or raced competitively. I’d like to jump back in and race my heart out.
Venturing into spaces that lack diversity, and acceptance requires immense courage and resilience. The journey to find acceptance has been transformative, and it has fueled my commitment to creating environments where everyone—regardless of background—feels empowered to explore and thrive. My goal is not only to reach personal milestones but also to share my experiences and knowledge with others in the hopes of seeing more people who look like me at the finish line of ultramarathons.

Running Goals:
- I want to be one of the best and respectable runners out there
- I want my work to speak for itself and I would like to do more cash prize races
- I want to be known as one of the greatest Native American runners of my time.
I applied to this scholarship because not only do I run for my people, but I run to support my family. I would like to get paid more for how much I invest into my running and would like to run professionally. Being able to run full time and provide for my family would be a dream come true and I would like to learn more about how I can make that happen.
